Many veterans are unaware that chiropractic care may be available to them through the VA Community Care Network, often with little to no out-of-pocket cost.
According to information shared by North Texas Injury & Wellness in Benbrook, eligible veterans who served in the U.S. military and received an honorable discharge may qualify for up to 24 chiropractic treatments per year through the program.
Covered services may include an initial examination, X-rays, chiropractic adjustments, physical rehabilitation, electrotherapies, and massage therapy. The program also advertises no deductibles, no co-pays, and no out-of-pocket expenses for qualifying veterans.
For local veterans dealing with back pain, joint issues, mobility concerns, or lingering injuries, the benefit could provide access to care that many may not realize is available.
