FORT WORTH, TX — Edward “Ed” Kent Carter passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, following a brief battle with lung cancer.
A longtime resident of Fort Worth, Carter was best known for his faithful service at Normandale Baptist Church, where he spent years teaching Sunday school and investing in the spiritual lives of others. Through his love for Scripture and dedication to teaching, he helped shape and encourage generations within his church family.
