As temperatures rise and summer activities ramp up, the Benbrook Community Center YMCA is rolling out a new pool schedule beginning June 1.
The updated schedule includes changes tied to summer swim team practices, expanded swim lesson offerings, and adjustments to lap swim and open swim availability. YMCA staff are encouraging members and guests to review the schedule closely before heading to the pool, as several time blocks have been updated to accommodate increased summer programming.
Families looking for open swim opportunities will still find a variety of options throughout the week, while lap swimmers should note that lane availability may be limited during swim team practices, lessons, and water aerobics sessions.
The YMCA also announced an important reminder for pool users: the aquatics center will be closed on Friday, June 5, while staff attend an association-wide training event. The Benbrook Community Center YMCA itself will remain open, but no pool activities will be available that day.
The new schedule takes effect June 1, and YMCA staff say they look forward to welcoming swimmers back to the deck throughout the summer season.
