For young ballplayers around Benbrook and the surrounding area, summer is just getting started, but preparations for fall baseball are already stepping up to the plate.
MVP Baseball is hosting fall tryouts for players ages 10U through 15U, inviting athletes from communities across North Texas, including Benbrook, Fort Worth, Aledo, Mansfield, Weatherford, Arlington, Crowley, Brock, Burleson, Willow Park, and beyond.
The program says its focus goes beyond wins and losses, aiming to help players continue developing their skills through experienced coaching and competitive team play from youth baseball through the collegiate level.
Tryouts will be held at Arlington Heights High School, located at 3192 Ashland Ave. in Fort Worth.
Upcoming tryout dates include:
• May 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• June 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Players are encouraged to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for registration.
