There was plenty of excitement at Happy Heart Academy, Inc. this week as students received a special visit from the Fort Worth Fire Department.
Children had the chance to climb inside a fire truck, learn about fire safety, explore firefighting equipment, and even sit up front where firefighters ride during emergency calls.
Teachers and staff said the visit gave students a fun, hands-on opportunity to learn about community helpers while also helping make safety education more memorable and approachable for young children.
Moments like these often leave a lasting impression on kids, especially when the lessons come with flashing lights, oversized tools, and the chance to meet the people behind the uniforms.
The academy thanked Fort Worth firefighters for spending time with students and helping create a day full of learning and excitement.
