More than 80 golfers packed Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course this week for another lively evening scramble that mixed competition with plenty of laughs.
The night featured everything from tight leaderboard battles to crowd-favorite side games that have become part of the course’s weekly tradition.
Josh took home the chipping contest win, while the main scramble ended in a three-way playoff at 3-under to determine first, second, and third place finishes.
But according to many regulars, the “Losers Game” may have stolen the spotlight again. One of the evening’s most entertaining moments came when Sydney grabbed her own scorecard during the challenge and earned a free entry into next week’s scramble.
Another memorable competition featured golfers attempting putts using a tiny pink mini-golf putter, creating plenty of laughs as taller players tried to navigate the awkward challenge. Eugene eventually walked away with the $50 win.
Organizers also announced a small rules adjustment moving forward. Teams will now swap scorecards during scrambles to help avoid score-counting mix-ups.
The weekly scramble continues, drawing golfers of all skill levels looking for a relaxed, community-driven night on the course where fun often matters just as much as the final score.
