On a warm Tuesday evening, the focus shifted from classrooms to celebration as Benbrook Middle-High School recognized some of its highest-achieving students.
The PTA hosted its Academic Excellence Awards banquet at Joe T. Garcia’s, honoring students in the top 10 percent of the Class of 2026. The night carried a personal touch, with each student inviting a teacher who played a meaningful role in their journey.
It created a room filled not just with achievement, but with gratitude. Students were recognized for their hard work, while teachers were quietly honored for the guidance and encouragement that helped shape it.
