Book lovers, bargain hunters, teachers, and families will soon have plenty to browse as the Friends of the Benbrook Public Library get ready for their upcoming community book sale.
The multi-day event begins with an early access sale on Thursday, May 14, from 1 to 7 p.m. Teachers and first responders will receive free entry with a work ID, while early public access will be available with a $20 donation.
The sale then opens to everyone Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Organizers say shoppers can expect a wide selection of books, media, games, and other items, with all purchases operating on a donation-based system where visitors help set the price.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to support library programs and services in the Benbrook community.
The sale will take place at the Benbrook Public Library, located at 1065 Mercedes Street in Benbrook.
