Pickle and Jam Canning Class Returning Near Benbrook.

Homemade pickles, fresh jam, and a few good conversations are all part of the plan at an upcoming canning class just south of Benbrook.

Stone’s Throw Farm Co. is hosting a hands-on canning class with Trish on May 9 from 2 to 4 p.m., giving guests a chance to learn the basics of making pickles and jams in a relaxed, small-group setting.

Organizers say attendees will make new friends, enjoy refreshments, and head home with both a pickle and jam of their own. The class costs $45 per person and has become a popular event that regularly fills up.

Residents interested in reserving a spot are encouraged to contact Stone’s Throw Farm Co. directly, as spaces are limited and expected to sell out again this year.
