Benbrook Library Bringing Carnival Fun to Annual Community Night.

For one night, the Benbrook Public Library is trading quiet reading corners for carnival games, prizes, and a community celebration.

The library’s 5th Annual “Evening at the Library” returns Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m., this year with a full carnival theme designed to bring families, neighbors, and library supporters together for an evening that feels more like a hometown festival than a typical library visit.

Guests can expect games, food, drinks, prizes, and open-house activities throughout the evening as they get a closer look at everything the library offers year-round. Staff and volunteers will also be on hand to meet residents and help introduce programs and resources that many families may not even realize are available.

In a world where so much happens online, nights like this still remind people how valuable it is to gather in the same room, meet neighbors, and simply enjoy the community around them.

The event will take place at Benbrook Public Library and is open to the community. Additional event information can be found at https://benbrooklibrary.org/events/month. Residents can also visit https://benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.
