BYBSA Gives Weekend Field Update for Baseball and Softball Families.

For Benbrook families watching the weather and wondering if games are still on, there is some good news heading into the weekend.

The Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association announced that all baseball fields, including Softball Field 6, will be open, and games will proceed as scheduled tomorrow.

The only question mark remains in Field 5.

League officials say the field is still too wet and may remain closed if conditions do not improve. If that happens, Blastball, 12U softball, and 14U softball games scheduled for Field 5 will be canceled.

BYBSA is hopeful that today’s sun and warmer temperatures will help dry the field enough for play. A final decision on Field 5 is expected no later than 7:30 a.m. tomorrow.

The association also shared that the remaining makeup schedule for Blastball and softball age groups will be posted tomorrow.

Spring sports in Texas often come with a little weather drama, and this weekend is no different. For parents planning carpools and kids ready to get back on the field, the best move is to keep an eye on tomorrow morning’s update.
