Western Hills Cougar Band Hits the Right Note With Fundraiser Drive.

Behind every halftime performance and concert stage moment is a long list of things most people never see—contest fees, private lessons, marching props, equipment, and the everyday costs that keep a band program moving.

That is why the Western Hills Cougar Band is asking the community to step in and help as they prepare for the 2026 school year.

The Cougar Band Fundraiser is now underway, with students and directors working to raise support for stronger opportunities both on and off the field. Their goal is simple: give students access to better equipment, more learning experiences, and the kind of high-level instruction that helps young musicians grow.

Funds raised will help cover contest and event fees, clinician support, private lesson instruction, marching band props, and other essential program needs.

Band leaders say every contribution matters, whether it is a donation, sharing the campaign with friends and family, or volunteering time to support the program.

Music programs often become more than extracurricular activities. They become places where students learn discipline, confidence, teamwork, and pride in representing their school.

At Western Hills, that investment starts with community support.

Those who would like to help can donate directly at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/donate-to-the-western-hills-cougar-band-today.

Because when a community supports its students, the music reaches far beyond the band hall.
