BENBROOK, TX — At the Benbrook Public Library, the people who quietly keep things running are getting a well-deserved moment in the spotlight.
As part of Volunteer Appreciation Week, April 19 through 25, the library is inviting its volunteers to stop by the front desk to pick up a small thank-you gift. It is a simple gesture, but one that reflects the library’s value for those who give their time behind the scenes.
From helping with daily operations to supporting programs that serve families across the city, volunteers play a steady role in making the library more than just a place to check out books.
Library staff shared their gratitude for the time, energy, and care volunteers bring, noting that their efforts help create meaningful moments for the community.
The Benbrook Public Library is located at 1065 Mercedes St. Residents can learn more at benbrooklibrary.org, email reference@benbrooklibrary.org, or call 817-249-6632.
For those who serve, this week is a reminder that their work is seen and appreciated.
