Benbrook Resident Reports Vehicle Break-In, Seeks Information.

BENBROOK, TX — A local resident is asking neighbors to stay alert after a vehicle break-in earlier this week in the LaBandera neighborhood.

The incident happened off Cook Ranch Road on Plata Lane in Phase 3, where a locked truck and toolbox were forced open. Several items were taken, including a dark-tan Yeti cooler, welding equipment, a welding helmet, and yellow-and-black extension cords. The individual also reported damage to the vehicle’s ignition, leaving it unable to start.

The break-in was discovered Thursday afternoon after the resident noticed items had been disturbed and an extension cord hanging from the toolbox in the truck bed, with belongings scattered nearby.

While no suspects have been identified, although the Benbrook Police were notified, the resident is asking anyone in the area with camera footage or information to come forward.

Situations like this serve as a reminder that even locked vehicles can be targeted, and that neighbors looking out for one another can make a difference when something feels off.
