Postseason play is picking up for Benbrook’s golf and track teams after a strong showing at district.
Both the boys and girls golf teams are headed to Lubbock this week for the UIL Regional Tournament. The boys will compete on Monday and Tuesday, followed by the girls on Wednesday and Thursday.
On the track side, Bobcat athletes who advanced to the district meet will compete Thursday, April 16, at the UIL Area Meet in Springtown. From there, qualifiers will move on to regionals, also set for Lubbock.
It is the next step in a postseason run that has already seen Benbrook claim a district sweep in golf and send multiple athletes to the track postseason.
Now it comes down to a few more rounds, a few more races, and seeing who keeps moving on.
