If you’re connected to Benbrook Middle-High School, this week is one of those where everything seems to happen at once.
It starts Monday with Bobcat flag football hosting Diamond Hill at 6 and 7 p.m., while the boys golf team heads to Lubbock for the UIL Regional Tournament, continuing through Tuesday.
Tuesday evening brings a full slate on the road. Softball travels to Dunbar for varsity and JV games, and baseball faces Carter Riverside at 7 p.m.
Midweek turns toward testing. Students in grades 6 through 8, along with biology students, take the STAAR exam on Wednesday, followed by social studies and U.S. history on Thursday. At the same time, girls’ golf competes in Lubbock, and the track team heads to Springtown for the UIL Area Meet.
The week wraps up Friday night back at home with baseball hosting Carter Riverside at 7 p.m.
It’s one of those weeks where schedules fill up fast, and the whole school community is moving in different directions at the same time.
