I-30 Closure Set to Impact Benbrook and Aledo Residents.

For many in Benbrook and nearby Aledo, the daily drive is about to look very different.

A full closure of Interstate 30, both eastbound and westbound lanes, is scheduled to begin April 6 as part of ongoing construction tied to improvements along the corridor. The closure is expected to last through April 20, with detours already mapped out to move traffic around the work zone.

For residents who rely on I-30 to get to work, school, or across town, the shift will likely mean longer routes, heavier traffic on surrounding roads, and a need to plan ahead. While disruptions are expected, the project aims to accelerate long-term upgrades to one of the area’s most traveled corridors.
