Kids Cast a Line This Saturday at Veterans Park.

For families in Benbrook looking for an easy Saturday outing, a nearby event is ready to deliver.

Just down the road in White Settlement, Veterans Park will host its Spring Kid Fish this Saturday from 9 to 11 AM. The event is open to kids 16 and under and is built around a simple idea: get outside, cast a line, and enjoy the morning.

There is more than just fishing on the schedule. Kids will compete in each age group for the most fish caught and the biggest catch, with raffles throughout the event for additional prizes. Early arrivals get a bonus: the first 30 kids will receive a free t-shirt.

Online registration has already closed, but families can still sign up in person on the morning of the event.
