Benbrook YMCA Kicks Off Annual Campaign with Community Event.

An evening built around music, food, and local impact is set to bring Benbrook residents together this Tuesday.

The Benbrook Community Center YMCA will host its Boots on the Ground campaign kickoff at 5:30 p.m., inviting families and neighbors to gather for a relaxed night with a purpose. The event marks the start of the YMCA’s annual campaign, which supports programs and services that reach across the community.

Guests can expect live music from 13-year-old country artist Landry Allen, along with barbecue sandwiches provided by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit while supplies last. Beyond the entertainment, the evening is designed to help residents understand how they can take part in strengthening the work happening through the YMCA locally.

Events like this often serve as more than a gathering. They offer a chance to connect with neighbors, support local talent, and see firsthand how small contributions can lead to lasting impact.

The event will be held at the Benbrook Community Center YMCA, located at 1899 Winscott Road.
