A simple walk can carry a powerful message, and next month, families across Fort Worth and Benbrook will have the chance to be part of one.
Thrive Beyond Academy is hosting its Autism Awareness Walk on Saturday, April 11 at Chisholm Trail Park. The morning begins with onsite registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by the walk at 9:00 a.m. The event is open to the public and free to attend, with refreshments, speakers, and a focus on building greater understanding and support for individuals and families impacted by autism.
Set against the backdrop of one of the area’s most scenic parks, the gathering is designed to be both welcoming and meaningful. It is a space where families, neighbors, and advocates can come together, share stories, and stand in support of a community that continues to grow in visibility and voice.
Events like this often do more than raise awareness. They create connection, remind families they are not alone, and invite others to learn, listen, and show up.
