Families planning to dine in at Chick-fil-A Benbrook this Saturday will want to plan ahead.
The restaurant announced that its playground and dining room will be closed to the public on February 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to host its annual Daddy Daughter Date Night. The RSVP only event has grown in popularity, and this year the entire dining room will be used to accommodate participating families.
While dine-in seating and the playground will not be available during those hours, the restaurant will remain open for carry-out, curbside, and drive-thru service.
Events like this have become a local tradition, giving fathers and daughters a dedicated evening together in a familiar setting. For other customers, it simply means adjusting plans for a few hours while the space is transformed for a special night.
