Fort Worth Launches NET Force to Address Problem Properties.

In January, Fort Worth quietly rolled out a new approach to tackling some of its most troubled properties.

The Nuisance Enforcement Taskforce, known as NET Force, brings together Fort Worth Code Compliance, Animal Care and Control, the Fire Department, Keep Fort Worth Beautiful, and local law enforcement. The goal is straightforward. Focus on the small number of properties that repeatedly violate city codes and create unsafe conditions for residents nearby.

These are locations often marked by long-term deterioration, chronic violations, and safety concerns. City leaders say the task force is aimed at holding property owners and operators accountable, not punishing residents who may already be dealing with difficult living conditions.

For Benbrook residents who travel or work in Fort Worth, the effort reflects a broader regional push to improve neighborhood safety and quality of life.
