A serious crash early Sunday morning shut down part of the westbound I-30 near Walsh Ranch and left the community grieving.
Around 1:50 am on January 18, crews from the Fort Worth Fire Department and the Fort Worth Police Department responded to a two-vehicle collision. When first responders arrived, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say the crash is still under investigation. Drivers traveling through the area overnight are reminded to slow down and stay alert as officials work to determine what caused the wreck.
