BENBROOK, TX — Helen Grace Laza, 89, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, surrounded by family.
Helen devoted her early years to raising her daughters before building a successful career as a realtor and salesperson. She later served the City of Fort Worth in an administrative role at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, retiring in 2000. Beyond her professional life, Helen was widely known as Mama Helen, a steady and generous presence to anyone who needed care, comfort, or encouragement. She offered meals, mended wounds, welcomed pets, and filled rooms with laughter, keeping family and friends smiling right to the end.
Helen’s warmth, humor, and steady love left a lasting mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
