Benbrook residents are remembering the life of Christopher Charles Schockey, known to many as Chris, who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 58.
Those closest to Chris describe him as deeply intelligent, endlessly kind, and full of warmth. His laughter was unmistakable, and his love for family and friends left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He lived with passion and intention, creating memories rooted in joy, connection, and generosity.
Rogers Family Mortuary handled cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Rogers Family Mortuary Chapel, located at 404 Morris Street in Monte Vista, Colorado.
