First Baptist Church Benbrook was filled to capacity Tuesday night as the Western Hills High School Pyramid Choirs brought their annual Sounds of the Season holiday concert to life.
Students from across the Western Hills pyramid took the stage, including Leonard Middle School, Western Hills Primary, Luella Merritt Elementary, and Waverly Park Elementary.
Together, they delivered a moving blend of classic Christmas pieces and seasonal favorites that highlighted just how deep the fine arts talent runs across Fort Worth ISD schools.
The evening opened with warm words of encouragement from Western Hills High School principal Bridget Sisk, setting the tone for a night that felt both celebratory and profoundly communal.
From there, Choir Director Blake Glass and the pyramid choir directors guided students of all ages through a polished and joyful program that kept the audience fully engaged.
What stood out most was the sense of connection. Younger students shared the spotlight with middle and high school performers, creating a clear picture of how music grows with students as they move through the Western Hills pyramid.
Families and community members who want to relive the concert can view photos and videos on the Cougar Pride Alliance Facebook page.
For many in attendance, the night served as a reminder that the sounds of the season are best heard when a community comes together to support its students.
