Bobcat Hoops Chase Godley Tournament Title as Milestones Stack Up.

It has been a week to remember for Benbrook Bobcats boys basketball, and it is not over yet.

The Bobcats head into Saturday’s Godley Kia Basketball Tournament championship game riding a three game winning streak and plenty of momentum. Tipoff is set for 4:45 pm today, with Benbrook playing for a tournament title and adding another chapter to an already memorable run.

Along the way, senior guard Brennan Barton crossed the 1,000 point mark for his career, becoming just the second player in program history to reach that milestone.

Not far behind him in the celebration department, head coach Blake Mendez picked up his 100th career win leading the Bobcats, a testament to steady growth and consistency in the program.

A winning streak, a historic scoring mark, a career coaching milestone, and now a championship opportunity all collide at the perfect moment for the Bobcats.

Bobcat Nation will be watching to see if this special week ends with a trophy, as Benbrook hoops continues to make noise and build something worth cheering for.
