Western Hills High School is celebrating a big academic win. Students in the Teaching and Learning Pathway competed at the TAFE Area 10 Regional Competition this past Saturday and earned their place at the state level.
Under the guidance of Ms. Hooks, students Daisy Daniel, Daissy Alvarez, and Sophia Castellanos advanced in the SPED and Deaf Education category. Mrs. Rogers’ student, Jabria Madden, qualified in Public Speaking with a focus on standardized testing. Each of these competitors spent months preparing, and their hard work came through when it mattered.
