Downtown Fort Worth came alive with pride and gratitude as hundreds gathered to honor those who served during the city’s annual Veterans Day Parade.
Leading the charge among local participants were 31 dedicated cadets from Western Hills High School’s JROTC program and the spirited Cougar Band, who proudly represented their school and community.
The students gave up their day off to march through the city’s historic heart, passing landmarks like the Tarrant County Courthouse while joining fellow schools and organizations from across the region. Their presence reflected a deep respect for veterans and a shared commitment to service that connects generations.
Behind the scenes, community supporters like Miss Patty and the Cougar Corner team made sure the cadets were fueled and ready, proving that honoring service often starts with small acts of care.
