This Veterans Day, one Benbrook resident is encouraging neighbors to take gratitude beyond words with a small act that can make a big difference.
The challenge is simple: write ten short notes that say, “Thank you, and your family, for your service.” Then, take a drive through local parking lots, spotting cars with military bumper stickers or veterans wearing service hats, and hand them a note.
If just 100 people take part, that’s 1,000 veterans personally thanked across our community. It’s an easy, heartfelt way to show appreciation and remind those who served that their sacrifice is seen and valued.
Spread the word, grab a pen, and join in honoring our heroes this Veterans Day.
