For Benbrook resident and Edward Jones Financial Advisor Nicholas Workman (second from left in the picture), crossing the finish line at his first race wasn’t just a personal milestone—it was a tribute to his late son, Damani.
Motivated by the desire to turn loss into purpose, Workman formed Team Damani with close friends to honor his son’s bold and competitive spirit. Together, they ran in his memory, finding healing and hope in every mile.
Workman shared that the experience has been life-giving, both for him and for those who knew Damani, serving as a reminder that love and legacy can endure even in grief.
