Texans will soon head to the polls to decide on 17 proposed amendments to the state constitution, along with several local propositions and elections, on November 4.
While many of the measures may seem small or hypothetical for now, their long-term impact could be significant. Amendments to the Texas Constitution are notoriously difficult to reverse, making voter understanding and participation especially important this season.
