Late Tuesday morning, students and staff at Benbrook Middle-High School were briefly evacuated after a fire alarm was accidentally triggered just before 11 a.m.
Fire trucks and an ambulance arrived on-site as part of standard safety protocol, prompting curiosity from nearby residents. The situation was quickly cleared, and school officials confirmed that it was a false alarm with no danger to students or staff.
Classes resumed shortly after, and everyone is safe and back to their regular school day.
