The Benbrook City Council invites residents to take an active role in shaping the city’s future by serving on one of its local boards and commissions. These volunteer positions provide citizens with the opportunity to contribute ideas, share their expertise, and influence key community decisions.
Openings are available on the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Zoning Board of Adjustment/Appeals Commission, the Parks and Recreation Board, and the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.
Applications and more details can be found at Benbrook City Hall, located at 911 Winscott Road, or by scanning the QR code provided by the city. Residents with questions can contact Beth Fischer at bfischer@benbrook-tx.gov.
The application deadline is November 3, 2025, and those selected will help guide the city in areas such as development, recreation, and economic growth.
This is an opportunity for residents to turn their passion for the community into meaningful service, making a lasting impact on Benbrook’s direction and development.
