BENBROOK, TX – After weeks of sitting idle, the long-awaited water truck at the Trinity Estates development in South Benbrook has finally made a move.
Neighbors noticed it in action, but the excitement quickly faded. Instead of tackling the dust clouds rising from the construction site, residents say the truck only dampened the pavement before parking again on the far side of the development.
For families living nearby, the gesture feels more like a performance than a solution. Complaints about dust have been ongoing for months, with residents citing health concerns, property upkeep, and quality of life issues tied to the construction work. The appearance of the water truck was seen as a potential turning point, but many remain frustrated that its use seems inconsistent and ineffective.
As the community continues to call for accountability, the question remains: will this be the start of real dust control in Trinity Estates, or just another temporary display?
