September marks National Senior Center Month, a time to recognize the vital role local centers play in keeping older adults active, nourished, and connected.

Here in Tarrant County, Meals on Wheels partners with 22 Adult Activity Centers to serve daily lunches, host engaging activities, and provide a welcoming place to combat social isolation.

These centers are more than just meal sites — they are hubs of community and care, giving seniors a chance to connect with others while receiving vital support.
