The morning commute was briefly slowed Tuesday after a single-vehicle crash along Southwest Loop 820 in Benbrook.
According to CrimeRadar.app, the crash occurred just before 8 a.m. on the highway shoulder. Benbrook Fire Department’s Engine 53, along with police officers and medics, responded to the scene, where the vehicle was found with moderate damage.
Two occupants were already outside the vehicle when first responders arrived. Both declined medical transport, allowing medics to clear the scene.
Traffic was temporarily slowed as emergency crews worked the incident, but normal traffic flow resumed by about 8:45 a.m. Officials are investigating what caused the crash.
