Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for July 17th to 18th in Benbrook.

BENBROOK, Texas — In response to a confirmed case of West Nile Virus detected in a local mosquito trap, the City of Benbrook will conduct mosquito spraying from July 17th to 18th.

Spraying Details:

  • Date & Time:
    • Begins: 11:00 PM, Wednesday, July 17th
    • Ends: 6:00 AM, Thursday, July 18th (weather permitting)
  • Location: Within a half-mile radius of the 8200 block of Circle S Road, bounded by:
    • North: Rush Street
    • South: Llano Avenue
    • West: Twilight Drive S
    • East: Coates Circle

Safety Information: The mosquito control pesticide used is safe for people and pets in small amounts. However, minimizing exposure is recommended.

Preventative Measures: The City of Benbrook urges residents to take personal protective measures against West Nile Virus:

  • Eliminate standing water on your property
  • Use mosquito repellent
  • Wear appropriate clothing when outdoors, especially from dusk to dawn
