It’s that time of year again. Back to school and after-school activities. One such activity in Benbrook is Scouting. Cub Scouting is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Cub Scout Pack 95 and Troop 95 have been charted organizations of Benbrook United Methodist Church for over 50 years and have produced close to 100 Eagle Scouts.
Cub Scout Pack 95 will hold its annual Recruitment/Information Rally on Thursday, September 6th, from 6 PM-7 PM in the Benbrook United Methodist Church gym. This is a great opportunity to get your kids out to learn about the fun of family scouting. There will be activity stations for the kids to learn about tent building, first aid, and other camping fun. While the kids enjoy the activities, parents will have an opportunity to hear about scouting, costs, activities, and other great information. Leaders and scout parents will be available to answer any questions during the rally.
Pack 95 has many great events on its schedule for this year, including community events such as the Benbrook Trash Bash and Cowtown Cleanup, as well as a fishing derby and family campouts, to name a few. Please come out and learn about these great experiences on September 6th. If you cannot come out on September 6th, please consider attending our pack meeting on Thursday, September 20th at 6 PM at the Benbrook Lions Club across the street from Benbrook Elementary. You can also contact us via our Facebook information page at facebook.com/cubscoutpack95, and we can email you the information.
