Police report that Western Hills High School in Benbrook, Texas, went into lockdown on Monday following a report of a student with a gun. The suspect was subsequently taken to a juvenile center.

Benbrook police seem to have determined that local teenager, 18-year-old Tyquan Dunn, has allegedly killed his mother by stabbing her multiple times. However, the motive for the act remains a mystery. Mr. Dunn’s mother, Beunca Dunn, passed away earlier this month (January 12), and many questions regarding the details of the crime continue unanswered.

Jeffrey Watson, 34, was arrested and is charged with shooting and murdering a 70-year-old Benbrook woman, Julia Ann Gregor, last week in an apparent road rage incident.
