BENBROOK, Texas — The transition to middle school is a big step, and Benbrook Middle-High School is thrilled to make it an exciting and smooth experience for incoming 6th graders and their parents. We invite you to our 6th Grade Orientation on Thursday, August 1st, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., where students will get a head start on navigating their new campus.
Orientation Schedule
- 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Orientation for 6th Graders
- 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.: Parent Information Session (High School Cafeteria)
What to Expect
For Students:
6th graders will embark on an adventure around the school, participating in a fun and interactive race designed to help them get familiar with the campus. Not only will this activity build confidence for the first day of school, but there are also prizes to be won along the way! After the race, students will enjoy one of the best parts of middle school life—lunch!
For Parents:
While the students are getting acquainted with their new surroundings, parents are invited to an informative session in the high school cafeteria from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. This session will cover everything you need to know to support your child’s transition to middle school.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Parents can drop off and pick up their 6th graders at the middle school gym. Our staff will be on hand to ensure a smooth and safe process.
