Benbrook Youth Baseball Season Adjusts Again: Makeups, Mayhem, and May Dates to Know.

Heads up, Benbrook baseball and softball families—more schedule changes are in play as the BYBSA scrambles to save the season from the rain.

For Blastball and 6U–12U baseball teams, the rained-out games from May 1–3 have officially been rescheduled. You can now check the BYBSA website for updated dates and times. But here’s the kicker—any more rainouts between May 5–16 will all get pushed to May 17, so keep your cleats ready and your fingers crossed for sunshine.

The End of Season (EOS) tournament for 6U–12U teams has also been moved to May 19–23 and is now optional. Teams that want in should speak up fast, since seeding will still be based on regular season records.

Meanwhile, 14U baseball and all softball teams are in limbo. Rescheduling has hit a snag as BYBSA works with less-than-responsive interlock partners to get those games back on the calendar. League officials are continuing to push for answers and ask for everyone’s patience as they try to piece the puzzle back together.

Bottom line: it’s been a wet and wild ride, but BYBSA is hustling hard to wrap this season up strong.

Stay updated, flexible, dry and hopeful that things will turnaround in short order.
