Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or memory loss can feel overwhelming, but the Benbrook Caregiver Support Group is here to help.
The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. It provides a supportive environment for caregivers to connect with others who understand their struggles and triumphs.
The next meeting will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Benbrook United Methodist Church, located at 1122 Bryant Street in Benbrook, Texas (76126). Coffee and cookies will be served, making it an inviting and informal setting to share experiences.
Facilitated by trained professionals from the Alzheimer’s Association, the group offers a safe space to:
- Build a supportive network
- Share caregiving tips and solutions
- Discuss emotional challenges and coping strategies
- Express needs, concerns, and feelings
- Learn about available community resources
This monthly gathering is an excellent opportunity for families to connect, understand, and receive guidance on their caregiving journeys.
