This group of local ladies earned their nickname during the early COVID days, when friendships bloomed on the greens. Terri and Deb met these upbeat women through a shared love of the game. A young grandson coined the name, and it stuck.
Fast forward a few years, and Deb recovered from major back surgery. Between physical therapy sessions and long days of healing, the Golden Girls’ familiar faces, along with support from Terri, daughter Trish, and granddaughter Britt, gave her the lift she needed to push through recovery.
The Golden Girls haven’t stopped showing up since, and their presence continues to be a source of laughter and encouragement to everyone who crosses their path.
