FORT WORTH, Texas—American Airlines will offer free Wi-Fi to AAdvantage members starting January 2025 through a new partnership with AT&T.
The service will be available on about 90% of its fleet—specifically aircraft equipped with Viasat and Intelsat satellite connectivity—covering nearly two million flights annually.
The AAdvantage loyalty program is free to join, giving members access to high-speed Wi-Fi for work, social media, or streaming. This move reflects Americans’ push to enhance the in-flight experience by keeping travelers connected from takeoff to landing.
