Benbrook residents, your attention is needed. A local driver was involved in a hit-and-run accident on eastbound I-20, just past the Winscott exit, around 8:40 a.m. on Friday, April 11.
The incident involved a blue Kia and an 18-wheeler box truck, which left the scene before the driver could safely pull over. Authorities are now asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash—or has dash cam footage from that time and location—to come forward.
