Benbrook Residents Can Weigh In on Traffic Light and Road Safety Plans.

Benbrook drivers frustrated with the intersection at 2871 (Longvue Rd) and Aledo Rd may finally have a chance to push for change.

The City of Fort Worth is hosting two public open house meetings on April 9 and 10, inviting residents to share feedback on traffic safety concerns—including the potential for a new traffic light near the train tracks.

These meetings will provide updates on refined safety focus areas, proposed infrastructure improvements, and strategies to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries. City officials encourage community participation, emphasizing that resident input will play a key role in shaping future road safety initiatives.

The conversation won’t stop here—additional meetings, including M1M and 2026 bond discussions, will continue addressing transportation improvements. Residents are also encouraged to spread the word by sharing information with neighborhood groups and on social media.
