Fort Worth Museum Hosts Sensory Saturdays for Neurodiverse Community.

Benbrook families looking for an inclusive and sensory-friendly experience can take advantage of Sensory Saturdays at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on March 29 and September 6 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Designed to create a calm, low-stimulation environment, Sensory Saturdays offer lower lighting, reduced noise, and fewer crowds, allowing guests with sensory sensitivities to explore the museum comfortably and safely. Families can also connect with others in the community and discover local resources.

The event is free, and the museum provides sensory backpacks and noise-canceling headphones for those who need them.
