October means showtime, Homecoming, and a little Halloween fun for Benbrook Middle-High School Theatre.
Students are in tech week now, preparing for performances Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2 and 7 p.m. The month also includes the Junior Thespian Showcase on Oct. 14 and Junior Thespian Festival on Oct. 17.
After the show wraps, theatre students turn their attention to Homecoming, including building their float and taking part in the Oct. 22 parade.
Then comes Halloween. BMHS Theatre will host BOO! On Broadway from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 29 and 30, with this year’s festivities adding a trunk-or-treat and activities for younger children.
The Theatre Booster Club is also rolling out a new monthly calendar to keep rehearsals, performances, volunteer opportunities, and other program information in one place.
Tickets, volunteer sign-ups and additional details can be found through the BMHS Theatre Booster Club Facebook page.
