Benbrook Middle-High School teachers and staff got a hometown lunch Thursday, courtesy of a business with deep Benbrook roots.
Chicken Express Benbrook donated lunch for the entire BMHS faculty and staff, a gesture the school’s PTA says gave everyone a reason to feel appreciated during the school day.
The PTA also shared a bit of local history along with its thank-you. The Benbrook location is where Chicken Express got its start in 1988, making the lunch a fitting connection between two longtime parts of the community.
The PTA is encouraging customers to pass along a thank-you the next time they stop by.
